Phase 1: Basic IT & Cybersecurity Foundations (Weeks 1-4) Week 1: Introduction to IT & Cybersecurity Objective: Build a strong foundation in basic IT concepts and cybersecurity principles. Week 2: Networking Fundamentals & Security Basics Objective: Understand basic networking concepts and security measures. Week 3: Introduction to Risk Management and GRC Objective: Understand the importance of risk management and the basics of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Week 4: Security Policies and Threats Overview Objective: Learn about security policies and common cybersecurity threats. Phase 2: Core Cybersecurity Concepts & Tools (Weeks 5-8) Week 5: Network Security Essentials Objective: Dive deeper into network security and defensive measures. Week 6: Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management Objective: Learn how to assess vulnerabilities and manage risk. Week 7: Governance Frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) Objective: Gain foundational knowledge in key cybersecurity frameworks. Week 8: Incident Management and Response Objective: Learn how to manage cybersecurity incidents. Phase 3: Security Monitoring and Auditing (Week 9-12) Objective: Learn about security auditing and monitoring practices. Week 12: Final Project & Review Objective: Apply everything you've learned in a practical scenario.
